Now it is incredibly fashionable to introduce into the interior all kinds of baskets and bags for storing anything. It is important that the thing not only blends in with the surroundings, but also becomes an appropriate accent. The example below shows the option where no sewing is required. But, if you are a lover of washing even what is not necessary to wash, you should use a sewing machine - you will not need special skills: there will be few seams, and they will all be straight.

Fold our rug in half (if it has a seamy side, then it up). We coat with glue on both sides (you can use a regular glue gun) about 2/3 of the length. We glue the sidewalls together.

To form the bottom, we apply glue to the remaining non-fixed length and fold it so that we get the letter "T". We carry out the operation on both sides.

We turn the product inside out and bend the edge. If your rug has already been decorated with brushes, then this, in fact, the process can be completed. If you want to decorate the edge, then you will need a yarn (or a thin rope) that matches the color and style and a rather thick hook.

Cut the yarn into equal lengths. Fold each section in half and, hook on the center of the resulting loop, pull it through the fabric.

Make the loop larger and, passing the ends of the segment into it, tighten.

After the entire edge is filled with fringe, trim it with scissors.

The original interior fabric basket is ready!
