Convenient trellis for ground cucumbers for fenced or raised beds are easy to make yourself. Unlike the mesh, they will not need to be constantly changed. And the existing slope will save time on harvesting.

For the arrangement, you will need the remains of a bar, board, profile or pipes, nails with a hammer, a drill and twine in sufficient quantities.

The first step is to install the supports. The approximate height of which should be about 2 meters. The amount directly depends on the length of the bed. When using a bar, the lower edge must be sharpened to make it easier to drive the supports into the ground.

There will be an upper bar on top of the supports. In the absence of a board or pipe of the required length, the existing material must be additionally fastened.

The next step is to attach the cross bar to the supports.

We drive nails into the sides of the beds, without driving them into the board to the end. The approximate distance between the nails is 40-50 cm.

We bend each nail outward with half loops so that a rope can be passed through it.

Having fastened the twine from one edge, we lay it in a zigzag across the entire bed, I use it for the lower fixation of the loop, and from above, simply throwing the twine over the crossbar.

At the end we cut and fix the rope.
