Among them there are those that easily endure the cold, do not require special care and look great at the same time. They are included in garden compositions, are invariable components of alpine slides and hedges. Single shrubs also look beautiful. Another advantage is the ability to quickly propagate shrubs on the site using cuttings or by obtaining cuttings.

It is he who is often called a shrub without flaws. Unpretentious, rapidly growing, depending on the variety, it can have a different color of leaves from yellowish-green to purple. If desired, it is easy for the bushes to set any shape.

Weigela Florida looks gorgeous without flowers. The shrub of this variety reaches a height of 46 cm, and can grow up to 90 cm wide.

Nandina
An interesting shrub with leaves that change color throughout the year. In early spring and closer to winter, they are purple, and in autumn they are dark green. An additional autumn decoration is red berries that resemble spectacular beads. The shrub reaches a height of up to 1.5 m, perfectly tolerates frosts up to - 23 C. In some areas, it is considered invasive.

Holly (holly)
Interesting shrub. Depending on the variety, the leaves can be edged from white and yellowish to rich bluish. Among the varieties of holly, there are those that do not shed their leaves for the winter. They are often used for Christmas wreaths and bouquets.

The plant does not tolerate the abundance of sunlight and can get burns, but it treats darkened areas, including those with high humidity, favorably. Holly is a dioecious plant. Red berries appear on female bushes by autumn, but only if a male plant is rubbed nearby.

Hydrangea
Hydrangea is deservedly considered a shrub that brightens the shadow. The shrub reaches a height of up to 1.5 m, large leaves can be both green and edged. Most varieties are frost-resistant, but for abundant flowering they still require the use of covering material in the winter.

During flowering, the shrub looks especially attractive. Gorgeous hats of flowers can have different colors. It is noteworthy that the color saturation can vary depending on the composition of the soil. Planting is possible both in May and September.

Daphne (daphne)
The shrub has several varieties, which allows you to choose not only the color of the leaves and flowers, but also the size. The smallest bushes reach a height of only 20 cm, and the largest ones reach 1.5 m.

Daphne feels better in the sun, but can grow in the shade. It tolerates high humidity well, but will not tolerate excessive prolonged drought. Frost resistance at altitude. The wolfberry freely tolerates frosts down to -15C in the absence of snow.
