The sheen of the fabric is dramatically combined with the matte stucco pattern and the miniature eiffel tower. This is how the budget handmade Christmas balls look unusual and beautiful. Graceful, with a deliberate touch of glamor, they resemble animated pictures from glossy magazines. Such balls will look great on a Christmas tree or in a New Year's bouquet. None of the uninitiated will even guess that they are admiring a penny decoration, and not a designer toy from an expensive souvenir shop.

For work you will need:
- plastic salt shakers
- some plain fabric with a natural shine
- embossed molds (corner and frame)
- polymer clay or other modeling mass
- lace and ribbons
- blanks and fittings suitable for design for costume jewelery
Don't be surprised at this kind of creativity. The base of the Christmas tree balls, visually reminiscent of the elements of palace luxury, are ordinary plastic salt shakers.

We prepare stucco elements. In order to set the bend to the corners, we use a thick candle. An alternative would be a smooth bottle and even a pipe cut of a suitable diameter.

We set the required bend for the stucco frame using a matching Christmas tree ball or foam blank. The main thing is to let the stucco details dry well.

Cut off 2 pieces of suitable fabric, each of which should be enough to wrap the salt shaker from the outside. We wrap the salt shakers with a cloth and glue around the perimeter. At the same time, the fabric should be well stretched.

We prepare all decorative elements for future balls.

Gently apply glue around the perimeter with a cloth-covered salt shaker. We join the salt shakers to each other, lightly press and let the glue "grab".

Glue a stucco frame on the side. After it we glue the corners.

From below we supplement the ball with a lace flower, let a strip of lace along the joint line from one corner to another.

Insert the cabochon inside the frame, glue the bow on top and attach the miniature Eiffel tower, complemented by a satin ribbon loop.

The ball is ready! You can proceed to making the next one. If desired, in this project, you can use different molded parts and accessories. Experiments with placement options are also allowed. Instead of ordinary fabric, you can use the remnants of upholstery material: flock, suede, leather. In any case, it will look luxurious and self-sufficient.
