Get your sleigh ready in summer and winter decorations in fall! Time is running fast and the magical New Year's Eve is actually just around the corner. To decorate your home, you can make these little night-houses. They are very popular, so they are not cheap at all in stores. You can make such houses yourself, and in just half an hour and less than 200 rubles!

You will need
- styrofoam (ceiling tiles) - 2 sheets;
- ruler;
- knife;
- glue suitable for styrofoam;
- white thin kraft paper;
- led garland
In our case, the ceiling tile has dimensions - 50 cm by 50 cm. We mark one of the tiles and cut it in half - 25 cm each. Then we retreat from the bottom 10 cm and also cut it off. It is very important that the knife is sharp, otherwise the cut may turn out to be uneven.

Next, on the resulting detail, mark the center, and with the help of some mold we outline a semicircle at the bottom in the center. Then from the semicircle up and down we draw straight lines to the edges.

Further from the upper and lower edges we retreat 3 cm, outline a point. Draw a 2 cm line from the marked point, then draw a rectangle. Draw the same element from the opposite side. Cut the styrofoam according to the resulting markings.

Now on the resulting wall you need to arrange doors and windows. We retreat from the edges by 3 cm, and then we determine the number and size of the windows and make markings for them. In our case, these are 4 rectangular windows 6 cm by 8 cm.

We outline the door in the center, it can be made narrow and rounded at the top. You can round off the edge with an ordinary glass. Naturally, all markings are applied from the "seamy" side. We cut out windows and doors according to the finished markings.

From the scraps of styrofoam from the windows, cut out the jumpers for them, glue them in the center of each of the windows.

We design doors in almost the same way as for windows. We make jumpers and a visor from thin strips of styrofoam.

Next, you need to close the windows. In our case, this is a thin white transparent paper for packaging. You can also use document files, tulle or lace for this purpose. We glue the "curtains" from the back to all windows and doors.

The front wall of the house is ready, you need to do the rest. For the back wall, you can use the front wall as a stencil. The only difference here is that the back wall will be shorter, since it will not have a curly top. The side walls are 10 cm wide. With the letter "P" we glue the back and side walls together.

Glue the front wall on top, leave a hole below. We put an LED strip, garland or candles inside the house. And, of course, you can make a few more houses and assemble a whole glowing city out of them.

And below you can watch a video on how to make such a glowing house out of styrofoam with your own hands.
