In the age of urbanization, interior decorations made from natural materials are very relevant. Natural wood, stone, plants create a romantic atmosphere in any room, charge us with a special feeling of unity with nature. Very often, without hesitation, we throw away what could serve as an excellent material for creating things in the "eco" style, and the process of creativity itself can bring a lot of pleasure! So the next time you decide to eat walnuts, do not throw out the remaining shells, but create a beautiful unique vase!

In order to make the base of the vase, you will need a balloon, scraps of newspaper and PVA glue, which must be diluted with water in a 1: 1 ratio. Saturate the pieces of paper with PVA solution and stick to the ball.

As a result, you should get about 3-4 layers of newspaper, which completely cover the ball. Let the glue dry. Mark the neck of the future vase (you can circle the glass for this) and carefully cut off the unnecessary lid with a breadboard knife.

Use your fingers to gently shape the bottom of the vase.

Coat the surface with a coat of white acrylic paint. Once dry, apply a base color such as dark brown.

Chop the nutshells.

Using any all-purpose glue, glue the nutshell onto the surface of the vase like a mosaic. You can additionally open the surface with a quick-drying, odorless acrylic varnish. The vase can serve as an independent piece of furniture, or you can put live or artificial plants in it.
