Sooner or later, almost all plastic products are covered with scratches, and it is very difficult to avoid this. Scratches on transparent plastic are especially unpleasant. Firstly, they are most noticeable on it, and secondly, scratches on transparent plastic can render the product unusable. For example, if it is plastic goggles. However, it is not so difficult to return them to working condition, and you can do it yourself.

You will need:
- water;
- sandpaper P2000;
- fine polishing paste
The task that needs to be solved at the first stage of work is to remove the deepest scratches on the plastic. The essence of its solution is to remove a thin top layer to the level of the scratch. To do this, grind the affected surface with sandpaper. We sand only on wet, periodically adding water. So we process the glasses from both the outside and the inside.

After sanding, scratches will go away from the surface, but the plastic will still remain opaque. We solve this problem with the help of a fine polishing paste, for example, 3M No. 75, which can be bought at a car dealership. Apply the paste to the surface with a thin layer and rub well on the outside and inside.

First apply the polish, for example, with a gloved finger, then polish with a soft cloth. If you are not satisfied with the result, repeat the polishing procedure. Done! The glasses are almost as good as new.
