Probably everyone will agree that, if desired, your site, or at least part of it, can be turned into a real fabulous corner. And not only flowers and plants can help in this, but also various decorations and figurines. For example, here is a fairytale house that is perfect for a garden fairy or gnome.
You can make it yourself, and from an ordinary plastic bottle, that's where the real magic is!
You will need:
- large plastic bottle;
- soft wire;
- cement;
- sand;
- acrylic paint;
- primer;
- instruments
The base and frame of the future fairy-tale house is an ordinary plastic bottle, its size can be chosen at your discretion. In our case, this is a 10 liter bottle. Before starting construction, the base must be reinforced. To do this, take a soft metal wire and wrap it around the bottle in a circle.
Then we prepare the solution itself: mix 1 hour of cement for 2 hours of sand. With the resulting composition, we close the frame of the house, forming a tower. Don't forget to model the roof. We leave the composition to dry for a day.
After a day, we moisten the dried surface with water, for example, from a spray bottle and cover it with a second layer of the mixture. At the same stage, we form all the recognizable details of the house: windows, doors, roof, decor. But this is still a rough draft. We leave our "draft" to dry for about 4 hours.
After this time, we proceed to the final drawing. We clearly mark all borders, lines and textures. Having achieved the ideal, we leave the solution to dry completely for about 5 days.
With a completely dry surface, we brush off all dust and cement chips with a brush. And now you can finally move on to painting. The first layer of acrylic paint is mixed in a ratio of 50 to 50 with a primer, in our case the paint is brown. At the same stage, you need to make a hole in the bottom of the bottle.
The next layer of paint is yellow, the final tinting is white. The top layers are best applied not with a brush, but with a patting sponge. Then the coating will look more textured and voluminous. The house is ready, all that remains is to find a tenant for it.
