Each holiday requires its own special decoration. However, topiary - a miniature decorative tree - is perfect for absolutely any holiday. Due to its rounded shape, it is often also called the tree of happiness, so the topiary will become not only a wonderful decoration, but also a wonderful gift. For example, everyone can make such an Easter tree of happiness.

You will need:

  • pots;
  • branch;
  • glue;
  • Styrofoam;
  • newspaper;
  • foil;
  • corrugated paper;
  • foamiran;
  • pastel;
  • starch;
  • PVA glue;
  • decorative mesh;
  • various decor

And the first step is to decide on the basis for the topiary. It can be a bucket, pots or other container. At the bottom of the selected container we put a piece of foam, on top of which we put a circle of foam. Instead of foam, you can also pour gypsum or concrete into the bucket.

Now we install the trunk for the tree in the planter. In our case, this is such a stick: we put it in the center and make a hole in the foam to the very bottom. We proceed to the crown of the tree. To do this, we take a newspaper or paper and form a ball of the required size from it. To make the ball more dense, we wrap it with foil.

In the center of the ball we make a hole with scissors and install it on the trunk of the future decorative tree. Finally, so that the foil does not shine through, we wrap the ball in green corrugated paper, which we glue only along the bottom.

The base is ready, we proceed to the decor. Flowers for topiary can be made by yourself. To do this, cut out the petals from foamiran and tint them with pastel using a damp sponge. Then we take corrugated paper with deep folds, with its help we will create veins on the petals. We design each petal as follows: put a petal on the corrugated paper, cover it with corrugated paper on top, iron it with an iron, quickly transfer the petal to a sponge and push it with a ball.

Now let's prepare the stamens for the flowers. To do this, mix PVA glue, starch and a drop of dye, for example, acrylic paint. Then we wind white threads on 3 fingers, cut off the excess and cut the resulting skein in half. Apply a mass of starch and glue to the ends of the thread, hang the stamens to dry. Stamens can be stiffened with hairspray.

Finally, you can collect the flower. We collect the stamens in a bunch and glue the first petal of the flower to it, followed by the second and third. Glue the remaining 3 petals at the joints of the previous ones. According to this scheme, we prepare the desired number of flowers.

You can also make such balls yourself. To do this, take a decorative mesh and cut off a strip about 5 cm wide from it. Stretch the resulting strip and, by twisting and throwing, form a ball. We fix it in some places with glue.

We decorate the tree. First, we place large objects on the ball, in our case, flowers. You can also add, for example, styrofoam fruits, berries and eggs. We fill in the gaps in the crown with balls, and we plant a butterfly on top. Remember to cover the styrofoam in the bucket with strips of decorative mesh.

Another interesting Easter decoration is such a composition under a cap.

You will need:

  • decorative mesh;
  • self-hardening mass;
  • toy goose;
  • feathers;
  • glass candlestick, saucer, lid-flask

And for this decoration, first of all, you need to make a nest. To do this, cut 4 strips about 5 cm wide from the decorative mesh. Stretch them, then apply glue to the tip of the mesh strip and bend it inward. Now we twist the mesh with a spiral and form a "snail", in some areas we fix the mesh with glue.

The nest is ready, now it is the turn of the eggs. We sculpt them from a white self-hardening mass: we form a ball and narrow it up.

Now we create a "podium". To do this, take, for example, a glass candlestick and a saucer and glue them together. Finally, we make out the nest: we glue it to the podium and decorate it with feathers and eggs. We close the nest with a glass flask lid with a goose glued on top.
