When spring comes and nature wakes up, many of us have a desire to somehow refresh our interior. It is not at all necessary to make any drastic changes, it is enough to add some small decorative element, for example, a floral one. And you can make a new spring decoration for your home on your own, moreover, literally from scrap materials. For example, here is a spring panel with flowers.
You will need:
- photo frames;
- acrylic paint;
- glass jars;
- wire;
- decorative elements;
- decorative filling;
- twine;
- wood glue or hot melt glue;
- wooden plank;
- artificial flowers
We buy any frames, and with them acrylic paint of the desired color. In our case, this is white paint, the frames of the same standard size - 10 cm by 15 cm. We unscrew the stands at the frames, and remove the glass, we only need the back cardboard. We paint cardboard boxes and frames with acrylic paint.
Now we take a cardboard box and a jar and make markings: we put the jar in the center and put dots to the left and right of its neck. We check the markup with a ruler, and then make holes at the designated points. We pass the wire through the holes and fix the jar with it. We cut off the excess.
Our panel will be monolithic, so we take a wooden board with suitable dimensions, in our case it is 42 cm by 4 cm. We paint it with white paint and fix the frames on the board with glue. If desired, using gray acrylic paint, you can give the white frames a little texture. Just apply a small amount of paint with light strokes. If there was any pattern on the frame, it will also appear. You can also add some decorative elements, for example, in our case it is a figurine of a dragonfly.
Now we will tie twine around the necks of the jars. Firstly, they will decorate the composition, and, secondly, they will disguise the wire. Ribbons can also be used instead of twine.
Finally, it remains to fill the jars. For this, you can use any decorative filling and artificial flowers. If you love dried flowers, they are great too.
