Undoubtedly, fresh flowers are very beautiful, they decorate and revive the interior. The biggest problem with live bouquets is well known to everyone - they are short-lived. And even if these are flowers in a pot, they do not bloom all year round. Artificial flowers are not to everyone's liking, and you can't make them yourself.
However, you can make an interesting flower decoration from an ordinary candle, more precisely from wax or paraffin from this candle. Just look at these airy flowers that resemble sakura.
You will need:
- twigs;
- candles;
- wax crayon;
- fingers
We will take twigs as a basis for flowers, they can be collected in the nearest park or forest. You can take any branches, but it is better that they are thin, so the composition will look more graceful. Another requirement is that they should have as many branches as possible on which you can "plant" flowers.
We will make flowers from an ordinary candle, more precisely from wax or paraffin from this candle. Here you have 2 options: you can either immediately take a colored candle, or add wax crayon of the desired color to the white one. We used the second option. We take a bowl, preferably a glass one, and put pieces of a broken candle and crayon in it. We put a bowl of wax in a water bath and let it melt completely.
We mix the wax and you can start with the flowers themselves. For this, in addition to wax and a twig, we need a bowl of cold water. So, the technology is as follows: put 4 fingers together with a "pinch", put them in cold water for about 5 seconds, then in wax for 3-5 seconds, and then attach the formed flower to the branch, as if it were plasticine. Of course, it's better if you don't have long nails.
Flowers can also have three petals, and even one - any option will look good, and especially their alternation. The principle is simple: there are as many fingers as there are petals. You can also vary the color intensity of the flowers, which will also look very beautiful. To do this, simply add not the whole wax crayon to the wax, but only part of it.
Thus, we decorate the entire branch with flowers and get a wonderful original bouquet for our interior. The main thing is to keep it away from fire and strong heat, otherwise the flowers may simply melt.
