Everyone who grows vegetables on their site wants to get a rich harvest. We would like to share with you the method of growing potatoes with grass and without hilling, with which you can get several more buckets of potatoes than when growing in the usual way.

First, prepare a potato groove slightly larger than your palm.

Place a layer of slightly dried grass in the groove.

Spread a layer of semi-rotten garden compost on top of the grass.

Spread the potatoes over the row, placing the potatoes about 20-25 cm apart.

Lightly dust the potatoes with soil and compost.
Fill the groove with semi-rotten manure.
Water and loosen the soil in the same way as you would when growing potatoes in the usual way.

Place a layer of hay on the rows of potatoes, slightly less than the height of your palm.

When the potato bushes reach a height of 25-30 cm, it will be necessary to break them apart, add wood ash and again cover the rows with hay.
When you grow crops this way, you will notice that potatoes that have been planted on green grass have darker leaves due to the fact that they get more nitrogen from the grass.
Further care for the care of potatoes until harvesting will consist only in watering.
After digging up the potatoes planted on the grass, a rich harvest of large potatoes is obtained. More tubers can be obtained from one bush. Due to the presence of grass under the potatoes, the roots receive more air, which has a positive effect on the harvest.
