For many, winter is the most magical time of the year. Just think, because it is in the winter time that the stores have the most of all kinds of jewelry. Not only counters are decorated, but everything around. Of course, the winter holidays are also to blame, for which you expect more and more every day.
To make the house not just a fortress, but a cozy fortress, you can please yourself with such a truly wizard lamp. Just look at this fabulous winter forest!

You will need:
- thick white paper - 7 sheets;
- transfer cardboard;
- glue gun;
- mock knife or nail scissors;
- window insulation;
- wire;
- garland;
- acrylic primer;
- texture paste;
- stencils;
- masking tape
For the inside of the luminaire, we need white paper with a density of about 160 g / m2. Thicker sheets will not work as they will not transmit light well. Sketching paper is great. Download the template here and cut out the details from it.
We do not fit the entire part on one A4 sheet, so it is divided into 2 parts. To make the parts connect without problems, cutting out, leave a glue allowance of about 1 cm. Glue the parts together.

Using a mock knife or small nail scissors, carefully cut out all 7 parts-layers. It looks beautiful already, but for now we put them aside.

Now we need to make a frame for the lamp. To do this, we take a binding board with a thickness of approximately 1.5 mm. We circle one of the inner stars around the office and add a frame about 2 cm wide to it. Cut out rectangles with sides of 9 cm and 6 cm from the remains of the cardboard, we need 10 of them.

We glue the edges with hot glue. Reinforce joints with obtuse corners with strips of masking tape with glue. We also fix sharp corners, lubricating them with glue.

Now it's the turn of the back wall of the frame. We put the finished frame on a sheet of thick cardboard and circle it. We mark the tops and retreat 3 mm from the target. The star for the back wall should be smaller.

We start decorating the lamp body. To do this, you can take a white acrylic primer and cover the body with it from the outside and from the inside. Then, using texture paste and stencils, add texture to the frame. And complete everything with pearlescent acrylic enamel and silver tinting.

When the body is ready, proceed to the assembly of the inner layers. Cut the paper if necessary. The hole in the back wall is intended for a garland, so we select the size for our garland. For the distance between the layers, we use pieces of thin window insulation. We glue the pieces of foam rubber on the front side of the layer, we do not glue anything on the topmost sheet.

We use an LED string for lighting. We put it inside, distribute it over the surface and fix it with masking tape or glue. We fix the box with the switch from the outside using double-sided tape.

Cut out holes on the layers, they are on the diagram. These holes are necessary so that the light from the garland passes well through all the layers.

We will not glue the layers together, so we make clamps. We form them from wire and glue them to each corner of the sprocket. The size of the retainer is 3 cm.
We collect all the layers of the lamp, turn it on and admire our work.
