Sometimes, in search of knitting yarn, you can go around no store, but you still can't find the perfect one. And if someone is ready to limit themselves to the assortment of yarn that is for sale, there are those who are ready to independently make the perfect thread for knitting.
Engineer Kyle Wei, photographer and artist Shirin Nadir create gradient yarns for knitting. The source of their inspiration is wildlife, animals, birds, household items and even food.
Before starting work, the craftsmen take a photo, on the basis of which they select colors for future threads. Then, on a unique machine, Kyle Wei begins the process of creating yarns. After that, talented craftsmen give away the threads so that they can be knitted into stylish, but at the same time functional wardrobe items.
Just look at these perfect color combinations. Smooth and harmonious transitions from one color to another really delight the eye. You can get real aesthetic pleasure from viewing photos of the things on the basis of which the threads were created, the yarn itself, and products made from it.
Sometimes it seems that the threads can come to life and transform into a bird, become a juicy fruit or turn into a stormy sky.
