Shrub roses are beautiful flowers that can decorate not only a room in the house, but also a dessert. To use plants on cakes or pastries, they must first be candied. It is a simple process that does not require any special skills.

Beat one egg white lightly. Wash the roses in advance and dry them completely.

Treat each petal from the inside and outside with a squirrel using a brush.

Put sugar on a spoon and gently sprinkle each rose petal on both sides, shake off the excess immediately.

If you are sugaring closed buds, it will be easier to work with. It is enough to bend back a couple of the first petals for smearing with protein.
When all the flowers have been processed, hang them by the branch to dry. If your oven has a convection mode, you can dry roses for 20 hours at a temperature of 36 degrees. If not, use a well-ventilated area. But drying in this case will take several days.

After drying, cut the roses from the branch, place in a glass jar with a lid and store until use.
