Everyone knows store bouillon cubes. They help to obtain a rich broth flavor in a short time. However, lots of additives and a lot of salt are of little benefit. If you're looking for an alternative to a store-bought product, you've come to the right place.
- 2 sweet peppers
- 3 zucchini
- 2 stalks of celery
- 4 tomatoes
- 3 carrots
- any greens
- vegetable oil
- spices to choose from
The set of vegetables indicated in the ingredients can be changed to your liking. Cut all vegetables into small cubes.
Add three tablespoons of vegetable oil to the pan, put all the vegetables. Simmer until soft, covered, stirring occasionally.
Place the prepared vegetables in a blender, bring to a puree state.
Add the herbs and mix again in the blender.
Add spices of your choice and 4 tbsp. tablespoons of coarse salt, mix.
Return the finished mass to the pan, warm up and evaporate the moisture. Do not cover the pan with a lid, stir constantly. Cool the mass.
Line the tray with cling film. Spread the mass over it with a spatula. Place in the freezer for a few hours.
Cut the frozen mass into portions.
Wrap each piece in foil or parchment. Store in the freezer.
