Cats love to lie in boxes, on your clothes, or even your laptop lid. To save things from fur, make your pet a cozy hammock bed. This model has two sides at once - smooth and fluffy, so that your furry friend can rest in comfort at any time of the year.
You will need:
- Wooden bars;
- joiner's glue;
- screwdriver;
- tape measure, pencil;
- sandpaper;
- screws, drills, drill, screwdriver;
- saw;
- furniture handles;
- 2 types of fabric;
- sewing machine;
- hair bands
Saw the blocks into pieces of the size you want. Sand each one to keep the wood smooth.
The hammock frame is fastened with screws. To prevent the wood from cracking during assembly, first make the necessary holes with a drill.
Assemble the frame by joining the beams into rectangles.
Gathering the frame together, add the screws to secure the furniture handles. The elastic bands of the hammock will cling to them.
The hammock will have two sides: smooth for the summer season, and fluffy, faux fur, for winter. Sew a rectangle of the size you want by placing hair ties in the corners. Leave one side free.
Turn the hammock inside out and join the free edge with a blind hand seam.
It remains only to choose a side. Slide the hammock over the frame and invite your pet to test their new bed.
