The Japanese are known throughout the world as a very hardworking nation. For many residents of the land of the rising sun, a pet is an unaffordable luxury. However, the love of the Japanese for cats can hardly be overestimated. The Japanese Railway made an interesting offer to its customers: now, on the way to work or home, you can chat with furry friends.

The idea of a cat cafe is not new, only in Tokyo today there are several dozen such establishments. However, it is the mobile project that is able to draw the attention of a large number of people to the problem of pets.

Unlike stationary cafes, carriages have not become a permanent home for cats - there are no necessary conditions for their long stay. Rather, we are talking about promotions that will help dozens of animals find new families. For the first time, a carriage with cats was launched in 2017, more than 30 furry passengers took part in the action.

All cats in such establishments are spayed, and the staff of furry employees is replenished by rescuing stray animals from the streets.
