A lush volumetric flower made of yarn can become an exclusive decoration. It will look spectacular not only on knitwear and accessories, but also when creating interior decor. Tablecloths, cushions, curtain bands - all this can be supplemented with an unusual decoration, which is easy to make. The main thing is to master the technique and get creative.
For work you need yarn of 2 colors.
Necessary fixtures and tools:
- stationery tape;
- matches;
- fork;
- needle;
- scissors.
The improvised decoration machine consists of an adhesive tape sleeve and 9 matches fixed in a circle. The matches are fixed at equal distances so that the sleeve is at the bottom.
Having made a free loop, we put it on one of the matches.
We start the circular winding with a figure eight, leaving 3 matches free at the beginning after the loop and moving 1 match all the time.
The splendor of the flower directly depends on the number of winding circles.
If necessary, omit the work after each lap.
Without breaking the thread, we bring it up through the middle.
We sew the flower in a circle so that the needle goes through the middle and at the crosshairs between the matches.
Now you can safely get rid of the matches.
We carefully fasten the thread and straighten the petals.
We wind some yarn of a different color on a fork and tie it in the middle.
Remove the figure eight from the fork and cut it off the edges.
Form a small pompom that will become stamens and thread it through the middle of the flower.
The decorative flower is almost ready, it remains only to fix the ends well and straighten it.
These flowers are easy to make in different sizes. There are also no restrictions on color solutions.
