Regilin is a special dense tape that stiffens the edge of the product. With its help, you can create lush silhouettes of skirts and dresses. Here are some secrets of working with this kind of material.

This type of tape can be dark, light or colored. It is inserted into the seams or allowed along the edge of the product. Regilin can be hard and soft, narrow and wide.

Work with the tape as follows:
Cut out the skirt and lining by making equal seam allowances. Fold fabrics facing each other and sew along the edge.

Cut off the seam allowance to leave 7 mm. Attach the hem from the side of the skirt to the seams. Stitch the tape 1mm from the edge.

Unscrew the lining and sew so that it does not stick out.

Turn the lining inside out and piping around the edge. The front should be slightly longer. Iron to fix the shape. Then sew the lining to the waist. This processing allows for truly impressive silhouettes.
