Glue that has dried on your hands or gets on your clothes is not a pleasure for anyone. Sometimes the need to glue something arises at the most inopportune moment. And children who are engaged in creative work, or simply decided to make another surprise for their beloved mother, can “please” with dirty clothes. There are incredibly simple but effective ways to get rid of the glue.

Removing super glue from hands without problems

Unfortunately, we do not always use gloves when working with super glue. If a drop accidentally falls on your hands, simply washing your hands will not be enough. It would seem that the glue can only be gnawed or wiped off with a pumice stone, but in reality this is not the case. In fact, you just need to moisten your fingers with water, and then put some salt on the adhering glue, add some more water on top and start rubbing salt into the problem area. This should be done within a minute. During this time, the salt will react with the glue and transform into a white pasty mass. This is a signal that your hands can be washed. Believe me, there will be no trace of glue.

With this simple procedure, it is easy to remove not only stationery, but even PVA construction glue. You can get rid of fresh stains that have not had time to grab, and even from glue, which not only dried up, but also soaked through the clothes.

All that is needed is a simple soak in warm water. For a freshly placed stain that has not had time to dry completely, a couple of hours will be enough. For small areas of contamination that have had time to dry, the soaking time will have to be increased to 3-4 hours. If you literally had to bathe in glue, and there was no opportunity to immediately soak dirty things, then the procedure would take at least 8-12 hours.

After soaking, the item must be rinsed, wrung out and sent to the washing machine for normal washing. Water-based PVA glue, after pre-soaking, is usually washed off the first time. If the stain has significantly decreased in size, but has not completely departed, the procedure must be repeated.
