Even someone who hates measurements, sewing machines and hand seams can transform their clothes. This is easier than it seems at first glance. A few minutes, and your denim jacket will look like it was made especially for filming a popular western. Let's get started!
You will need:
- Sharp scissors;
- meter of fringe (approximately, depending on the size of your jacket and the length of the sleeves);
- meter of trimming tape;
- textile glue
Step 1:
Attach the fringe to the back of your jacket to cut to the desired length. The edges of the fringe and braid, which contain synthetic fibers, can be slightly scorched over a candle flame or with a lighter. This will prevent thread shedding.

Step 2:
Apply textile glue directly to the jacket and then some on the fringe itself. Press the trim against the fabric. You can fix it by placing something heavy on top.

Step 3:
Apply ethnic-style tape along the upper border of the fringe. Let the glue dry a little.

Step 4:
Style the sleeves of your jacket the same way. If you want a more discreet design, skip this step.

Step 5:
Wait until the glue is completely dry and you can enjoy your new country style jacket!
