Soon, soon, the sorceress-winter will whirl us in a waltz of openwork snowflakes, New Year's wonders and bright Christmas tree lights! Why don't we do a little miracle on New Year's Eve: make an original panel with an “almost” real snowflake? ?

The master class is very simple. Such a panel can be carried both as a craft to a kindergarten and to school, or it can be made by the whole family and decorate your home. After all, we all love to cut snowflakes so much!
I'll tell you what we need:
- frame with glass;
- snowflake cut from paper (foil);
- foil for creativity in blue (you can use colored cardboard);
- Decola contours (white, silver and blue);
- transparent glass outline (Idea, no. 001)
- glue stick;
- awl (thin needle);
- gel for creating pearls Perlen Pen (white and blue);
- scissors;
- pencil.
To decorate a wooden frame:
- acrylic paint "Decola" gray;
- acrylic contours "Decola" (white, silver);
- brush;
- spray paint of silver color (any brand);
- acrylic lacquer.

You can cut out any snowflake from paper that your fantasy tells you. After all, painting your own snowflake is so interesting!
To get a six-pointed snowflake, you can use the following scheme:

Cut off the excess, taking into account also the size of the panel itself and the paper snowflake. My workpiece turned out to be small, 15 cm in diameter.

We apply patterns with a pencil and cut out:

A magical moment! We reveal our snowflake! How beautiful! ?
By the way, preparing a snowflake for a panel, I faced the following problem: it is very difficult to cut patterns from ordinary office paper, folding it several times. Such paper is suitable if you are creating a panel with a child using an ordinary four-pointed snowflake.
I came up with the following: I took a sheet of thin, yellowish paper for typewriters. It is much easier to cut out complex patterns from it. After the snowflake was cut, I ironed it with an iron …

…. And then on the street painted with silver paint from a spray can.

So, we already have a silver snowflake, it sparkles and shimmers! Let's deal with the frame (simplified version: you can choose a ready-made frame of the desired color and texture).
I used a wooden frame. To easily paint over dark stained wood with silver paint, I first applied a layer of acrylic gray paint with a brush. Then, like the snowflake, she painted it on the street with silver spray paint.

Now you can apply “frosty patterns” using the white and silver Decola outlines. We fix the painting with varnish. In my case, it is a water-based acrylic varnish.

So, the snowflake is ready, the frame is ready. Let's decorate the glass itself with painting so that there are no voids around the snowflake. I came up with a pattern that resembles the rays of my snowflake:

We put the sketch under the glass and outline it with a silver outline:

For the background, I used a dark blue sheet of foil for creativity. We glue the snowflake with glue-pencil on the foil in the center.

So, again, a magical moment! All the details for drawing up the panel are ready, we collect everything into a single whole, placing a snowflake under the glass.

It's already beautiful! But we will go ahead and decorate our snowflake with dot painting.

We outline the snowflake with a white outline.

Add pearls to the painting using the Perlen Pen.

Now silver patterns. We pull out some of the dots with a thin awl (toothpicks, needles).

You can add blue:

Perlen Pen's soft blue pearls.

And finally, draw transparent droplets with the Ide contour (at first the points are semi-matte, but later they become transparent)

Our snowflake is ready!

She is magical and amazing! See how it changes color under different lighting conditions!

And you can also make a wish for it, which will definitely come true in the New Year!

My family was so carried away by this idea, everyone took up scissors, and we also have such beautiful snowflakes!
What kind of snowflakes will you get? ? By the way, you can add glitters (glitter contours), rhinestones and much more to the painting!

Thanks for attention! All good, pleasant anticipation of the New Year, miracles, fulfillment of desires and inspiration!
