Todd and Kari are a happy family with three children. When you have such a large family, dreams of personal space often remain dreams. But Kari was very lucky: her husband made her dream of his own "dressing room" a reality, remaking one of the many wardrobes in their house for it. The wife often said that she did not have enough personal space to calmly apply makeup and not scatter lipstick all over the house. The husband solved this problem by truly surprising his wife.
“Before we leave the house somewhere, there is always a lot of fuss. And then one day I once told Todd that it would be nice to have a separate place where I could calmly put myself in order, put on my makeup and comb my hair. But I didn’t expect him to organize it so quickly,”says Kari Kölsch.
The house where their happy family lives is not new and needs renovation. But Todd decided that the wife's desire was the most important thing. To do this, he used one of the cabinets, which was empty. On the inside of the closet, he pasted stylish wallpaper with pink stripes, put a dressing table and a small soft ottoman there. He managed to make a surprise for Kari's Christmas and December birthday.
“I was shocked when I saw this! I cannot imagine a more beautiful and suitable design for me. And I'm shocked that Todd invented him himself - after all, he is a simple worker, a tough guy who walks in dirty shoes every day. How could he choose pink stripes?”Kari laughs.
The dressing room is not yet completely finished: Todd plans to install lamps above the mirror and an additional drawer. But Kari could not resist and has already shared photos of the cabinet "before and after" on her Twitter. The hearts of Internet users have been won!
Kari herself says that this is the bestt for her for the New Year.
“He didn't tell me how much it cost him. But when I look at my table, I think about how much love and work he put into it. It cannot be bought for any money. An invaluable gift!"
