I love embroidery, especially when it is harmoniously combined with other types of creativity. American Walker Boyes (also known by the nickname TrueFort) proves once again that a talented person is talented in everything: among his works, satin stitch and beadwork, photography and fashion design.
“I started embroidering after watching a few high fashion shows,” says Walker. “I was so impressed with all these beautiful handcrafted elements that I told myself that I could do it too if I wanted to. In the process of work I try to think outside the box so that in the end something really beautiful appears on the canvas."
I suggest you take a closer look at the work of Walker Boyes. All photos are in good resolution, so you can see every stitch. In addition, the master himself loves to share process shots and close-ups.
Like many artists, the guy finds inspiration in the world of flora:
A special place in his work is occupied by bright bicycles with charming flower baskets:
As a photographer, the master enjoys experimenting with the design of photographs:
And turns denim jackets into pieces of art:
But, in my opinion, the most impressive series of works from TrueFort are animals embroidered with floss threads and beads in the form of an ensemble of floral ornaments:
I hope that getting to know this needleworker will inspire you as much as it did me! I wish you all creative victories
