The idea for this wall decoration belongs to the artist and designer Kathryn Anderson. The technique has its own name - it is string art from English "string", which means "string, thread, lace".
How to make a tree on the wall using threads

To work you will need:
- Small nails
- A hammer
- Yarn
- Sketch chalk
So let's get started:
You need to start by choosing a sketch. It does not have to be a tree, but in our master class it is a tree. With chalk we outline a sketch on the wall. We outline the trunk of the tree, the crown (main branches and small additional ones) with carnations.

Now we start to draw the tree with yarn. We start at the bottom of the tree trunk. There is no exact drawing and clear sequence here. Unleash your creativity. Fasten the yarn on the studs with several turns. You can achieve a volumetric effect if you walk the same place several times. You can even draw a hollow.

The work is voluminous, so not everyone will be able to make a tree in one sitting. If you take a break from work, then tightly wrap the carnation at the stop, keeping the tension of the entire composition.

Execution options are possible. You can use yarns of different colors and thicknesses
