Itself banitsa is a bland pie. In fact, this is a thin pita bread with a filling inside. Moreover, the filling may be different. Banitsa maybe with cheese, Bulgarian yoghurt(which in Bulgarian is "jelly mlyako") with meat, with cottage cheese ( lazy banitsa) or an egg. What is banitsa? You will find many recipes and photos on the Internet. But, this can be explained by the fact that banitsa are prepared in different sizes and shapes, from a portioned “pie” to a festive “pie”.

PIE INGREDIENTS
- 500 g ready-made puff pastry
- 300 g feta cheese
- 4 eggs
- 150 g melted butter
INGREDIENTS FOR FILLING
• 200 g sour cream 15% fat or sour milk
• 2 eggs
PREPARATION
Defrost the puff pastry according to the instructions on the package, divide into several pieces, and then roll each piece until translucent.
Mix the cheese with the eggs. Put the finished filling in portions on a rolled out dough sheet, greased with melted butter, and gently roll up the roll.
Place the rolls in a baking dish, brush with oil again.

To prepare the filling, mix sour cream (or sour milk) with eggs. Pour this mixture over the rolls and shake the mold a little so that the pouring is evenly distributed.
Bake the banitsa in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
