In this master class, I will show you how to embroider lilacs. To do this, I need 4 and 6 mm satin ribbons for buds, 1 cm ribbon for flowers, 2.5 cm ribbon for leaves and stems, a hoop, threads, scissors, a lighter and a print.
I start with the buds. I take a tape of 4 and 6 mm and stitch all the edges of the branches.
I bring the tape to the front side and loop around the needle.
Then, retreating from the tip of the tape 0.5 cm, I insert the needle into the fabric, this is how a French knot on the leg turns out.
I stretch the tape to the wrong side.
The first bud is ready, and we also embroider the rest.
On the top of such buds, you can embroider with a ribbon wider and larger buds of a different shade.
Immediately, the embroidery is more voluminous.
Let's move on to the flowers. We cut a 1 cm tape into strips of 10-15 cm, then we singe the ends with a lighter and make 4 or 5 folds, so then it will be convenient to sew the petals.
We take a thin needle and thread and sew the edge of the tape back and forth.
Then we sew the bottom to the bend of the tape and so on, until the tape ends.
One petal was stitched and up and down again.
We sewed the entire tape, it turned out 4 parts, which means there will be 4 petals, you can make 3 and 5, as it is convenient.
They pulled off a flower and sewed it on the wrong side in the center.
And we sew it ready to a branch of lilac, retreating from the tips of the buds.
Then we fill the whole branch with flowers.
We embroider the core of the flower with yellow floss threads.
In one, twist threads on the needle and pierce the middle of the flower.
Further leaves. We embroider the leaves with a 2.5 cm green ribbon.
We brought the tape to the front side, retreated 3-4 cm and insert the needle in the center of the tape, dragging it to the wrong side.
We sew all the leaves like this.
We embroider the branches with a brown ribbon 2.5 cm. Introduce the ribbon from the beginning of the branch to the end, twisting it.
Twisted, inserted a needle with a tape on the front side and brought it out to the wrong side. I sew the ends of the ribbons on the wrong side with threads.
