The official rules of the Big Apple metro say that no one has the right to transport animals by transport if they are not in a container. Surely from the beginning it meant a typical carrying basket, where only a well-fed cat or dachshund can fit, but the letter of the law turned out to be full of holes. The rules do not regulate in any way the requirements for the "container", therefore, in fact, the dog should simply be in a bag or backpack, and not on its four legs. And that's what came of it.

Dog breeders in New York simply added a "climb in the bag" command to their pet training program. And sit there compactly so that only your head sticks out, otherwise strict controllers will ask unpleasant questions. The life hack turned out to be working, interesting and popular, and the dogs themselves are not averse to taking a ride in the hands of the owners.

It would seem that everything, the question is closed, if the metro management does not mind. But no - many people prefer to keep dogs that are not pocket size and an attempt to "ride in a bag" turns into a quest for dexterity and ingenuity. Sometimes this takes on very grotesque forms, which are difficult to pass by without taking a few pictures.
