Looks like Emily Salehamer is a very persistent and determined girl.
“I have diligently collected candy wrappers (helped by friends and family) for 4 years to create this dress. After enough candy wrappers had accumulated, I arranged them by color, smoothed and folded chains out of them. - said Emily.
“Using an elastic thread, I sewed the resulting chains together. It turned out a kind of "canvas" from which you can sew a dress. On our first date with my husband-to-be, he offered me a package of Starburst candies, which happened a few years before I started this project. These are his favorite sweets, he began to collect candy wrappers for me … The dress took pride of place next to gifts from guests at our wedding, which took place almost two years ago!"
She diligently saved candy wrappers for 4 years to create this dress.

In total, more than 10,000 candy wrappers were required.

Having collected enough, Emily sorted them by color, smoothed them and connected them into chains.

She smoothed and folded each of the 10,000 candy wrappers.

Sewed the chains together.

Using an elastic band from underwear, which she dyed to match the wrappers, she secured the edges and was able to sew in the zipper.

The girl did not forget about the right shoes!

Here's what Emily did.

And this is how the dress looks from behind.
