HALVA FROM SUNFLOWER SEEDS

1 cup shelled sunflower seeds

¾ glasses of raisins, 2-3 tablespoons of unrefined sunflower oil. It will add aroma and taste to halva.

Preparation:

Grind the seeds with a blender at maximum speed. The finer the seeds are ground, the tastier the halva will be. Add raisins to the seeds, continue grinding everything together. We mix. Add oil, mix. From the resulting mass, we form a figure of the desired shape with our hands or make balls. You can cover the silicone mold with cling film, put halva there, tamp it with your hands, and then carefully remove it along with the film. We remove the film - we get halva.

HALVA WITH FLAX SEED AND SESAME

150 g sunflower seeds, 50 g flax, 5 tbsp. sesame, 5 tbsp honey (can be replaced with dates), cinnamon.

Preparation:

Grind all the seeds into flour. Mix honey with flour and cinnamon. Add the ground seeds and knead the thick dough. If not sticky enough, add a couple of tablespoons of water. We form halva, sprinkle with seeds and send it to the refrigerator for a while.

LINEN HALVA

Flax seed - 200 gr, Honey - 3 tbsp. l., Orange zest - 1 tsp, Sesame flour

Preparation:

Grind flax seeds in a blender, add a little water or orange juice. Grate the zest, add to the flaxseed flour and mix with honey. Add some sesame flour. If the mass does not form, then add a little more honey. You can add pre-soaked raisins, dried apricots, prunes. We form balls, put them in the refrigerator for a while.

SESAME HALVA

Sesame seeds - 2 cups

Coconut flakes - 0.5 cups

Cocoa or carob - 1 - 1.5 tbsp. spoons, Vanilla to taste and desire, Honey - 2 tablespoons (thick is better)

Cooking

Grind the coconut and mix with sesame flour. Add cocoa (carob) and vanilla. Mix. Add 1 tbsp. spoon of honey and crush the mixture with a mortar. Add another scoop as needed and continue kneading the mixture. It should turn out to be dense, begin to form into lumps, but not blur - it is important not to overdo it with honey. Tamp the resulting mixture tightly into any shape. Send the form to the refrigerator for 2 hours. After the mixture has cooled down, gently draw a knife along the walls of the mold to make it easier to take out the halva. Such a dish can be stored for a long time.
