Are you hungry? This joke will discourage you from going to the refrigerator for a long time. How would you react if you found someone's head in the refrigerator?

And this is how it is done
To make this funny I used a photo editor, 2 photos of my head combined into one big one. Laminated a large photo and put it in a jar
When placing a photo in a jar of water, an optical illusion of a real head in a jar is created.
You will need:
- Photoshop (or any other photo editor)
- Big jar
- Food coloring (optional)
- Printer
- Lamination (can be done at your nearest photo store)
Making your own "head" in a jar is fairly easy, but requires some photo editing skills. In 30 minutes I made an instruction that will help you with this.
But if you are not a professional in photo editing, You can download an already prepared photo… Although individualizing this prank will make it much more effective.
Step 1: Import photos

To make a printout of the head, you will need profile and frontal photographs of the head. Place the camera in front of your eyes to take these photos. Make sure your face is well lit. Ask someone to take a picture of you.
Next, we will work with this image in a photo editor. Since the end result will be on a standard sheet of A4 printer paper, open your photo editor and select that paper size. Then paste both photos into a new layer and scale them to fit the artboard. When we combine both photos, we have to resize them again.
Stage 2: Aligning Images

Use a photo editor to crop the excess background so that only the face remains. If both photos differ in lightness, then use the light level control (Ctrl + L in most applications).
Make sure that the images are at the same level, take the eye level as the base. Almost all photo editors have a ruler function, this will allow you to make sure that you did everything right.
Stage 3: Fitting the image

To combine the photos, you will have to crop part of the face in the profile photo. Select the area as in Figure 1 and delete it as in Figure 2. Then move the profile photo to the left so that it is located as in Figure 3.
Stage 4: Blur the edges

Select the eraser tool, set the brush. At the junction of the two images, blur it with an eraser and apply a background color. For the best effect, adjust the transparency of the eraser.
Step 5: Copy the photo to profile

When one side of the face is complete, take a copy of the profile photo and place it on a new layer. Flip the copy horizontally and place it on the left side. You may need to adjust the eye level again and use the eraser.
You don't need to spend too much time on the neck and chin, as they will be cut off at the end in preparation for printing.
Stage 6: Merge and Resize

When you are satisfied with the merging results, merge all layers into one. Next, resize the image to match the size of the paper you will be printing on.
You can enlarge the image to crop the neck and the top of the head.
Stage 7: Save and Print

After saving the result, I printed it out. In the dialog box, when printing, select the option to print full page (or something similar). When I printed at home, the photo came out with a white border around the edges (the area where the printer does not print). I cut them off.
If you want to download my version, you can download this PDF, it is ready for printing, or this PSD layout.
Stage 8: Lamination

Since the image will be immersed in water, it must be laminated so that it does not blur ahead of time. You can laminate a photo in a photo center, stationery store, etc.
Step 9: Prepare the jar

You will need a large enough jar.I had a 5-liter one at hand. If you don't have one, you can probably get one at your local hardware store.
After filling the jar halfway with water, I used a mixture of yellow, orange and green food coloring to make the colored water look like a preservative solution. (You were at the Kunstkamera)
Stage 10: Put your head in the jar

We fold the printout and put it in the jar, do not confuse the bottom and top. After that, add water to the jar and close it tightly. The "head in the bank" is ready.
Stage 11: Now it remains to place it in the refrigerator

Maybe you want the person not to see it right away, then you can hide the jar, for example, behind a saucepan. You can also place it in a prominent place, then opening the refrigerator, a person will find it immediately.
