Gordon Pambridge is a born artist. Painter, photographer, woodcarver, sculptor and engraver, his talents are many and varied, and it seems that everything comes easily to him. Gordon was born in Kenya and spent his first ten years there. The fascination with the wild landscapes of this country became the inspiration for the creation of his works.

Gordon Pembridge has lived in New Zealand for most of his life.
For his carved bowls, Gordon uses the wood of cypress trees, which fell and lay for a long time in the swamps. First, he grinds a bowl, several millimeters thick, on a lathe, and then, using engraving, carves the finest details of stunning natural landscapes and wild animals.

The final stages of processing are airbrushing and varnishing.

Currently, Gordon Pembridge is a recognized master, works for himself, determines the prices of his art himself, and therefore can devote more time to the finest elaboration of his products.
