One day he saw a huge container in front of a supermarket, where everyone was throwing plastic bottle caps… The solution was amazing! Nearby was a photograph of a seven-year-old toddler. It turns out that she needed a heart surgery worth 90 thousand euros. When the girl's parents asked the entire country for help during a TV show, a large plastic recycling company responded. The corporation requested 200 tons of plastic caps, saying that if this huge mass of plastic was collected, it would definitely give money for treatment.
Boxes for collecting plastic lids were installed everywhere, and in a couple of months the Spaniards collected the right amount! Wow … People are still collecting caps, many plastic recycling companies have made deals with charitable foundations, funds to help people with disabilities. A double miracle: not only cleaning up the environment, but also helping others!
In 2010, a truly wonderful event took place in Turkey. Istanbul Medical University students collected and scrapped the caps to make a wheelchair for the needy.
Plain plastic covers can become angel wings. How does the process of helping people in need take place? Plastic raw materials are collected and delivered to a recycling company. The company pays for plastic raw materials and transfers the money to the account of a fund for helping people with disabilities, a charitable foundation or a relief fund victims of hostilities.
