Sydney Hanson grew up in Minnesota in a large family with a large number of animals.

When she didn’t cut through the snowy expanses, or didn’t rescue frogs from gutters, she painted. Her paintings and illustrations still reflect these early adventures and are marked by her love of animals and nature.

In 2011, she moved to Los Angeles, where she worked for giants such as Nickelodeon and Disney Interactive. In her free time, she loves to travel and spend time outdoors with her beloved dog, a Labrador named Cash.

Her work exudes incredible warmth and kindness. Looking at the funny characters in her illustrations, you involuntarily return back to childhood, where everything is perceived differently.
