I would like to present to your attention a very tasty appetizer - Meat cake. I love making cakes, but my husband always said about them that they are delicious, but if they were made of meat, they would be tastier. And so I set myself the goal of looking for a meat cake and found it in the magazine "I love to cook", a special thank you to the author.

Ingredients
So, we need the following products:

For the meat crust:
- 2 chicken breasts;
- 200g. lean pork belly
- 1 wed. bulb;
- 100g. kefir;
- 1 egg;
- salt, pepper, spices to taste;
- a quarter of the bread.
For the carrot layer:
- 1 carrot (but I didn’t have enough next time I’ll take two);
- 1 small onion (if you increase the amount of carrots, then do not forget the onion too);
- salt pepper;
- 3 small. tooth. garlic;
- mayonnaise (a lot so that the cakes are well saturated) - if you avoid purchased mayonnaise, then try your own mayonnaise.
For decoration:
On the eve of the New Year, of course, I tried to decorate in the New Year's way, one option from December 31, another option with a Christmas tree, but of course this is not important, and you can decorate as you wish.
For the Christmas tree was used:
- 3 var. eggs;
- dill;
- Garnet;
- corn;
- star from var. beetroot, although it seems to me from red pepper, it would be prettier.

Cooking
Scroll chicken, pork and onion through a meat grinder, plus pepper, salt and spices.
In a blender, beat the kefir and pulp from the bread and leave to swell for min. by five, then add to the meat, plus an egg, knead the minced meat and put it on a baking sheet on parchment, I didn't have it and so I took 2 sheets of A-4 format, greased them well with oil and kneaded the minced meat completely around the perimeter of the sheet with my hands. Thus, I got 2 meat cakes of A4 format. ?
Bake for about 30-40 minutes. it all depends on the oven. But they will turn out light, since both the brisket is light and pork.

Then cut both cakes across and fold on top of each other, align, it turns out this cake, and the cut is quite a bit, did I quickly drag them all over? …

Grate the carrots, finely chop the onion and fry everything in a skillet in oil until tender, or rather stew it so that the mixture is not fried and has time to cook. There is also salt and pepper. Squeeze the garlic through a press. I also added a little dill to make the filling more beautiful.

One cake is sooooo good to grease with mayonnaise, do not be afraid to shift it, it will be absorbed all over, but the cake will not be dry, then the carrot mixture on mayonnaise, then the next cake, etc. the top cake is also sooo good to grease with mayonnaise and sides.
Decorate the sides with grated egg white, top with yolk and make a herringbone. Put in the cold and, of course, let it soak, better overnight. And a delicious meat appetizer that any man will surely like is ready !!!!

My husband is pleased that he finally waited for the meat cake, tucked it by both cheeks, the cake was soaked and was really sooo tasty. ? And as a result, an order from my husband to prepare it for the New Year, which of course I will do. But next time I will make twice as much carrot filling, and then it will be even tastier !.
