Braided balls
In order to make paper Christmas balls with weaving, you will need sheets of colored paper, sheets of white paper, templates, a pencil, scissors, PVA glue, a brush, clothespins and pieces of satin ribbon.
First of all, you need to prepare templates for all the component parts of the ball. The photo below will offer three options for patterns, each of which allows you to make a ball decorated with unusual weaving. After choosing one of the templates, you need to cut out two sets of parts: one set from colored paper, the other from white paper. Then the colored parts should be laid out in the shape of a flower, and a circle should be glued in the middle so that the parts are kept in a single structure. You also need to lay out the parts cut from white paper, only the parts must be laid in the opposite direction. Then you need to put a structure of white parts, and on top put the structure of their colored parts and intertwine them, that is, put each row of stripes on top of each other in turn. After the rows are woven, you need to attach a piece of satin ribbon.
Openwork snowflake
In order to make an openwork snowflake, you need an old book, fishing line, scissors, glue and sparkles. First, markup must be done on the pages of the book, that is, to designate stripes of the same width, but different lengths. Then the stripes should be cut. Then each set of five stripes must be bent in the shape of a drop so that one of the crystals of the snowflake is obtained. The edges of all drops must be connected and secured with fishing line. Several more such elements should be made in a similar way. Next, one set of strips must be twisted in the shape of a circle and the edges must be secured with fishing line. After that, crystals-blanks should be glued to it in a circle. The side parts of the elements that make up the crystal also need to be glued. At the final stage, the snowflake can be decorated with sparkles and a loop of fishing line or ribbon can be attached.
Christmas toys from ordinary bottles

- To form one snowflake, you will need two identical plastic bottoms, so the first step is to cut off the bottoms of the bottles with a knife.
