The type of curtains dictates the way of fastening. Roller blinds cannot be secured with hooks, and curtains with hooks cannot be hung with clothespins. See all the options and try them on to your interior.
This is a popular, simple, and generally the cheapest method of fastening. Hook curtain rods are provided with latches on the sides to prevent the hooks from slipping.
Since the hooks themselves do not look very aesthetically pleasing, they are paired with braid, also called curtain tape. It is a textile tape with laces threaded into it and woven loops for hooks. Sewn to the top edge of the curtains and allows you to form the top edge of the curtains and folds.
ATTACHING CURTAINS WITH LOVERS
Eyelets can be mounted not only on the cornice, but also as an independent decorative element anywhere in the curtain, put on a bar or string, pull a cord, fabric or other curtain through them. Eyelets look spectacular, easily slide along the eaves-"pipe", are suitable for many types of curtains. The only exception to the use of grommets may be lightweight fabrics.
Hinges for cornice
Buttonholes can be made from the same fabric as the curtains or from decorative ribbons, braids, etc. Tied in the form of bows, knots, fastened with buttons.
Curtains on hinges create coziness and a homely atmosphere in the interior. Such fasteners for curtains will look good in the nursery, in the kitchen, in the bedroom, however, for the living room and office it is better to prefer something in a different style. It is important to remember that depending on the type of fabric, the hinged curtain may not move very easily along the eaves, so experiment with the material before making your final decision.
FIXING WITH CURTAIN CLIPS
"Clothespins" or "crocodiles" are good because they allow you to adjust the length of the curtain, lay folds, etc. The clips are suitable for medium-weight fabrics, they will look bulky on light curtains and will not hold heavy fabrics. The only drawback of this type of fastening is that with a sharp movement, you can pull the curtain out of the clamp.
ROLLER FOR ROLLER CURTAINS
Suitable, respectively, only for these types of curtains. Fasteners most often come in a "set" with curtains. Roller blinds are installed on the window sash, on roof windows, attached to the wall (on the opening), installed in the opening or attached to the ceiling.
