Since we had free space in the corridor and we had nowhere to put our high boots, it was decided to get a shelf for shoes.

The requirements for it were as follows:
- aesthetic appearance
- natural materials
- seat (it should be possible to sit down while shoeing)
- it should fit boots
There was a desire to work with my own hands, so they did not even consider buying such a shelf.
Stage 1: Materials
- Furniture panel 18х300х1200 mm - 1 pc.
- Dry bar 30x30x3000 mm - 1pc.
- Dry bar 20x30x3000 mm - 1pc. (actually we need a little more, but I had leftovers)
- Remains of laminate (I think that everyone who made repairs will find it, if not, then you can replace it with fiberboard or plywood)
- Furniture dowel 8x30 mm (or 10x30 mm) - 1 package
- Wood glue (we used PVA in a tube with a spout)
- Wood varnish
In total, about 650 rubles were spent.
Stage 2: Preparation

We decided to make a shoe rack 50 cm high. You can do it as it will be convenient for you to place your boots or sit.
We cut the timber to the appropriate length. In each bar we drill holes 15-18 mm deep in order to place a furniture dowel in them.
Cut triangles from a 30x30 bar as in the photo. We will need them for the final assembly of all elements using glue.
We glue the triangles to the feet of our shoe shelf. There are six such legs in total, in the center and along the edges of the furniture board.
Stage 3: Build

First, using glue and a dowel, we assemble the main frame. We make laminate shelves and attach them to our corners. After that, we can fix the main element - the furniture board.
It is difficult and long to comment on the build process. I think the photographs speak for themselves.
Stage 4: Result

At this stage, we just need to remove the remnants of the glue and cover it all with varnish. In my opinion, it turned out quite nicely. Boots were placed on the left side, ordinary shoes on the right. Despite the fact that the shoe rack was made by hand, it turned out to be quite durable. I (80 kg.) Even tried to swing her, but she did not give in.
