I absolutely love this recipe for oven baked garlic bread. The bread turns out to be so fragrant and appetizing that you want to make all the sandwiches only with it. My household is just trying to persuade to cook more.

Stage 1: Ingredients

- one fresh soft baguette, cut in half lengthwise and then into several parts (it is better to choose the most airy baguette!)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
- 3 cloves of garlic (chopped with a garlic press)
- 1/8 - 1/4 cup grated cheese (parmesan)
You will also need a baking sheet and oven set at 220C.
I want to re-emphasize that it is very important to choose the right, soft baguette. If the baguette is 1 day old or one of those crispy, then they will not work for you. Garlic bread made from such a baguette will be difficult to chew. I've had this happen many times until I learned to choose a baguette.
Stage 2: Melt and spread

In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix with the rest of the ingredients. Put the resulting mixture with a spoon on the bread and spread it evenly over it.
Stage 3: Roasting

We bake garlic bread at a temperature of 220C for 10-15 minutes.
Do not go far from the stove, as soon as the baguette begins to brown, pull it out faster, otherwise it will turn out to be overdried.
Now you can enjoy fresh garlic bread straight from the oven!
P. S. If you don't eat all of this at once, then the leftovers can be used the next day as toasts for salad or for soup. Or as a great beer snack. Although we sometimes finish the bread on the second day.
