Such a skirt is sewn very easily and quickly, and an elegant accessory will easily complete a magical look.
So, we need:
- semi-rigid tulle - two identical pieces of different colors, the remains of tulle for a bow;
- multi-colored pompons of different diameters;
- elastic thread;
- wide elastic band for the belt.
The size of tulle is taken depending on the desired length and splendor of the skirt. To calculate the width of the fabric, you need to multiply the required length of the skirt by 2 and add a few cm for the belt (depending on the width of the elastic). Well, the longer our fabric is, the more magnificent the skirt we will get! We took two pieces of tulle 70 cm wide and 1.5 meters long.
It is best to use a rubber string for elastic gathering. It should be wound around the bobbin of the sewing machine as the bobbin thread. We wound it by hand and didn't stretch it on purpose.
Procedure:
We take both pieces of tulle, fold them in half (separately, on top of each other). We retreat from the edge 2 cm and stitch them together on a typewriter, we get a double "pipe".
We step back from the edge 5-6 cm (2 cm plus the width of your elastic for the belt) and give the second line. We have an opening for an elastic band ready.
We fill our skirt with a "surprise", it can be pompons of the same color or different colors and different diameters. From my own experience, let's say that too small are lost, the best of all is of medium diameter, we used pompoms with a diameter of 25 and 35 mm. You can put pompons in one or both layers of the skirt, as you like.
Do not forget to change the bottom elastic thread in your machine to a regular thread. We sew the sides of our skirt. Each layer is sewn separately.
We put the elastic into the resulting opening for the belt.
And we connect the ends of the elastic.
So, our skirt is ready!
Let's add an elegant accessory to this skirt - a bow. It is done very simply. We take a small piece of tulle (25 cm by 25 cm). In width, stepping back from the edge 1 cm, we sew tulle on a typewriter.
Turn the seam inward and place it in the middle (the seam remains on the bottom layer).
Fold in half and tie in the middle with a small piece of white tulle. It turns out such a bow.
Inside we place pompons with a small diameter of about 5 mm. You can sew this bow on a T-shirt or on a regular band.
So, easily and quickly we sewed a tulle skirt with a surprise and made an elegant bow from the remains of tulle.
