New Year's salad "Rooster"
- 200 g chicken fillet
- 200 g champignons
- 1 onion
- 5 walnuts
- 200 g canned corn
- 100 g mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 100 g hard cheese
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 bunch of dill
Boil the chicken fillet, cool it and divide it into fibers.
Using vegetable oil, fry the onions and mushrooms in a skillet.
Peel the walnuts and chop them.
In a bowl, combine chicken fillet, fried onions with mushrooms, canned corn, and nuts.
Season the salad with homemade mayonnaise, pepper and salt.
Gently place the seasoned salad in a bowl, shaping it into a cockerel shape. Then grate the cheese on a fine grater and decorate the dish with it.
Cut out the scallop, beak, strips for the tail and wing of the cock from the red pepper. Make an eye out of a pea of black pepper, and place some dill under the bird.
This nutritious salad will please all guests, and will also be an excellent decoration for the festive table!
