New Year's salads: the best recipes

1. Salad "Christmas toys"



Chicken fillet - 1 piece

Large potatoes - 3 pieces

Champignons (pickled) - 200 grams

Processed cheese - 1 piece

Canned corn - 1 can

Chicken egg - 2 pieces

Carrots - 1 piece

Garlic, salt, dill, pepper - to taste

Red bell pepper - 1 piece

Olive oil - 2 tablespoons

Red cabbage juice - 6 tablespoons



Boil the eggs and separate the yolks from the whites. Grind the proteins on a coarse grater and soak in red cabbage juice for 30 minutes. Then it will turn into a nice blue color. The bell peppers need to be grated on a fine grater, or if there is a blender, it is better to grind it there. Add spices to taste and olive oil to it. Mix thoroughly. Boil the potatoes in their skins and cool. Peel it and rub on a coarse grater. Boil the mushrooms and chop finely. If you are using pickled produce, simply slice it up.

Cut the boiled file into small pieces. Now you can start forming "toys" from grated potatoes. You can use the photo as an example. Potato toys should be greased with mayonnaise and put on top with multi-colored proteins, yolks, carrots, bell peppers. Use strips of mayonnaise to make snowflakes on these toys. The plate on which you put this original salad can be decorated with sprigs of parsley or dill.

2. "New Year's cone" salad



Cream cheese - 300 grams

Ham - 200 grams

Pine nuts - 50 grams

Dill - 20 grams

Mayonnaise - 50 grams

Almonds - for decoration

Salt, garlic - to taste

Bacon-flavored crackers


Cut the ham into very small cubes. Beat the cream cheese with a blender with pre-chopped dill (leave a sprig of dill for decoration), garlic (you can skip it), mayonnaise and salt. Put the whipped cheese in another bowl and add the ham cubes and pine nuts, salt the mass and mix well with a spoon. We put the salad in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

Dry the almonds in the oven or in a pan, stirring occasionally for 15-20 minutes. Put the chilled salad on a dish in which it will be served in the shape of a cone and decorate with almonds with the sharp end towards you (see photo), and decorate the thick end of the cone with a sprig of dill. When serving, garnish such a salad with bacon-flavored crackers.

3. "Christmas toy" salad

Cut everything, season with mayonnaise. Shape, coat with mayonnaise + ketchup mixture (to give a pinkish tint) and decorate. For decoration - olives, carrots, peas, corn, red caviar and mayonnaise, instead of red caviar, you can use pomegranate seeds. In principle, you can use our favorite salad recipe for salad, which will only have to be decorated in an original way.

4. "Carnival tree" salad



150 grams of salted herring

150 grams of Korean carrots

3 medium potatoes

3 pieces of chicken eggs

3 small beets

1 can of canned peas

A bunch of green onions and dill

Pomegranate seeds

Canned corn


This salad must be laid out in layers, each of which is well greased with mayonnaise. The first layer is Korean carrots. The second layer is eggs, grated on a coarse grater. The third layer is potatoes grated on a coarse grater. The fourth layer is finely chopped herring fillets. The fifth layer is boiled beets, chopped on a coarse grater. The sixth layer is canned peas. The last layer of peas does not need to be greased with mayonnaise. Sprinkle finely chopped greens on it. Now you can start decorating our herringbone. Make garlands from corn and pomegranate seeds, as shown in the photo.

5. "Christmas candles" salad



3 medium potatoes, boiled in their skins

2 boiled chicken eggs

2 medium carrots

500 grams of boiled broccoli

2 small pickled cucumbers

200 grams of cooked meat or ham

1 medium onion

A bunch of dill or parsley

Pepper, salt to taste

red paprika for decoration

4 pieces of cheese slices

Pomegranate seeds


First, prepare the sauce with which you will grease the layers. Take meat or ham, cut into small cubes. Do the same with cucumbers and onions. Season all these products with mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Stir the sauce. Now take a large dish and lay out the food in layers, greasing them with sauce: potatoes, carrots, eggs, broccoli. Only pre-grind all this on a coarse grater. When all the layers are laid out, pick 4 holes in the salad - it is best to do this with a teaspoon. Roll up the cheese slices and insert them into these holes. Lightly grease the plates with mayonnaise, sprinkle with cheese. Candle fire can be made from red bell pepper. Decorate the salad with herbs and pomegranate beads.
