I propose to prepare a wonderful seasonal appetizer - very tasty, healthy, colorful and bright - baked bell pepper rolls with feta cheese and basil!
Main Ingredients:
- 2 pcs. large red pepper
- 100 g medium-salted feta cheese
- 1 sprig of basil
- 1 tsp olive oil
- salt and provencal herbs - to taste
Cooking method:


Wash the pepper, put on a baking sheet, sprinkle with olive oil and bake in a well-preheated oven until tender. Turn the peppers from time to time. It should be soft and brown on the sides for the right texture.
Transfer the finished pepper to a bowl or a plastic bag, which should be tied up and allowed to cool. This procedure will make the peppers easier to peel.

Peel the cooled peppers, remove the seeds and cut into long strips of 4-5 cm.



Finely chop the basil leaves. Mix with chopped cheese, olive oil, salt and spices. Mash thoroughly with a fork.


Put the prepared filling on the strips of pepper. Roll up small rolls and cut them into smaller rolls. Drizzle with olive oil if desired and chill thoroughly.
